With over 16 years of experience at executive and management levels within the energy sector, Stewart is a high-achieving professional known for his strategic vision and commitment to driving business growth and development.
As CEO, Stewart leads the business, focusing on eight key sectors: geothermal, underground gas storage, mining, oil and gas, carbon capture and storage, geological disposal facilities, geotechnical, and water. He has been instrumental in the significant growth of the company, securing prominent clients and building strategic partnerships and alliances that offer real value to operators.
Stewart began his career with a BP scholarship and gained valuable insights while working both onshore and offshore with various operators, including Shell, SSE Renewables, Repsol, Perenco, SABIC, Star Energy Group plc, Egdon Resources Limited, Angus Energy Plc, Cuadrilla Resources, and EUROPA OIL & GAS (HOLDINGS) PLC etc. As a skilled leader, he possesses extensive commercial, financial, legal, and strategic expertise that enhances the company’s operations and market position. He is a founding member of the Deep Geothermal APPG and advocates for utilising indigenous resources in the renewable sector, boasting a proven track record in regulatory compliance, due diligence, and global financing.
A native of the Shetland Islands, Stewart combines his heritage with his extensive expertise to foster innovation and sustainability within the industry. His academic qualifications include an Executive MBA, MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention, and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, complemented by numerous professional certifications such as NEBOSH, Lead Auditor, CMI Management and Leadership, and PRINCE2 Practitioner.
