We are excited to introduce Trevor Middleton, our Operations Manager at Consortium Drilling Ltd. With over 26 years of experience in global upstream operations, both onshore and offshore, Trevor is a highly accomplished professional known for his operational excellence and leadership.
As Operations Manager, Trevor Middleton plays a pivotal role in transforming Consortium Drilling Ltd Drilling into a key player in deep drilling and emerging markets, including geothermal, lithium, carbon capture and storage (CCS), geological disposal facilities, and hydrogen storage. He has successfully overseen numerous high-profile drilling projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. His expertise encompasses a variety of operations, including deepwater tension leg platforms, subsea wellheads, land operations, managed pressure drilling (MPD), cyber systems, interventions, and plug and abandonment activities etc.
Trevor’s recent achievements at Consortium Drilling Ltd include leading the completion of the UK’s first geothermal electricity project for Geothermal Engineering Ltd, where operations were conducted incident-free with zero non-productive time. He has also been instrumental in implementing improvement strategies to enhance the company’s integrated management system, achieving ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications, as well as developing comprehensive operational standard operating procedures and risk assessments.
Before joining Consortium Drilling Ltd, Trevor Middleton held senior roles with KCA Deutag and SIMMONS EDECO, where he was responsible for managing drilling rigs and leading large teams in challenging environments. His track record includes overseeing multi-million-pound reactivation projects and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
